DEATH STRANDING Y CONTROL ENTRE LOS NOMINADOS A LOS BAFTA GAMES AWARDS

Ya tenemos la lista de nominados para los British Academy Games Awards 2020, los premios que celebran lo mejor en los videojuegos, que este año han dejando a Death Stranding y Control a la cabeza con 11 nombramientos cada uno, siendo la primera vez en la historia de los BAFTA Games Awards que un videojuego (en este caso, dos) logran tal cantidad de nominaciones. Otros títulos con múltiples nominaciones son Disco Elysium con 7, Life is Strange 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare y Outer Wilds con 5 nominaciones cada uno, mientras que  Knights and Bikes, Untitled Goose Game y Luigi’s Mansion cuentan con 3 nominaciones.

Este año se han agregado 4 categorías nuevas: Animación, Logro Técnico, Intérprete en un Papel Protagónico, e Intérprete en un Papel Secundario.

Durante la ceremonia, el legendario Hideo Kojima, creador de Metal Gear Solid y Death Stranding, será condecorado con el más alto honor de la Academia Británica: el premio Fellowship, por su excepcional contribución creativa al mundo de los videojuegos.

Los BAFTA Games Awards serán presentados por el comediante irlandés Dara Ó Briain en la ceremonia, que se llevará a cabo el próximo 2 de abril en el Queen Elizabeth Hall en la ciudad de Londres en Inglaterra.
