Premios Oscars 2022: la lista completa de nominados

Después de tantos meses y dudas respecto al futuro de la ceremonia de los Oscars, el día de hoy se disiparon esas nubes al revelarse la lista de nominados a lo mejor del cine por parte de la Academia.

Como cada año, las reacciones se hicieron notar por nominados inesperados y por los que hicieron falta en la lista de las 23 categorías. De entrada, The Power of the Dog de Netflix y Jane Campion, arrasó con 12 nominaciones especialmente en las categorías de Actuación, Mejor Película, Guion y Dirección, la cual se perfila como la favorita en ganar la mayor parte de sus menciones.

Dune, la mega producción de Warner Bros. y Denis Villeneuve obtuvo 10 nominaciones, pero curiosamente no fue considerada para la categoría de Mejor Director, tomando en cuenta el descomunal trabajo que Villeneuve realizó para llevar a la pantalla grande esta adaptación de la obra de Frank Herbert.

Entre las sorpresas (tanto buenas como malas) dentro del rubro de películas animadas, Disney vuelve a monopolizar la categoría con 3 filmes, mientras que Flee y The Mitchells vs the Machines logran colarse para intentar llevarse el premio. Por el lado negativo o raro, este año ningún filme animado japonés entró, teniendo en cuenta que Belle (2021) fue aplaudida en el prestigioso Festival de Cannes.

Para quienes siguen con el hype de Spider-Man: No Way Home, lamentablemente se tendrán que emocionar con la única nominación en el apartado de los Efectos Especiales, donde tendrá la difícil tarea de competir contra filmes como Dune, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Free Guy y No Time to Die.

Lo histórico se lo lleva el filme CODA al ser la primera película dirigida y actuada por un elenco predominantemente sordo que es nominada a Mejor Película y su actor Troy Kotsur  se convierte en el primer actor masculino sordo en competir por un Oscar como Mejor Actor. Otra sorpresa inesperada es la ausencia de House of Gucci la cual solamente fue considerada en la categoría estética (Mejor Maquillaje) pero ninguno de sus actores fueron considerados, inclusive se esperaba que Lady Gaga y Jared Leto fueran nominados, pero quedaron totalmente olvidados.

Antes de pasar a la lista completa, les recordamos que la ceremonia número 94 de los premios Oscars se llevará a cabo de manera presencial el 27 de marzo de 2022.
