Golden Globe Awards 2021: La lista completa de los nominados

Como cada año, las grandes productoras y estrellas se preparan para ser parte de las múltiples ceremonias de premiación a lo mejor del cine y la televisión. En esta ocasión le tocó dar el banderazo de arranque a los ya famosos Golden Globe.

La mañana de hoy (3 de febrero) se hizo oficial el anuncio de los nominados y entre las sorpresas pudimos notar como Netflix arrasó con 44 nominaciones, consolidándose como la plataforma de streaming más poderosa y popular del momento.

En cuanto a Cine, Mank y The Trial of the Chicago 7 lideran las nominaciones, mientras que The Crown y Ozark hacen lo mismo en Televisión. Por el lado indie, filmes como Nomadland y Promising Young Woman se hicieron presente con algunas nominaciones. Y este año la contienda por mejor director tiene a 3 mujeres con grandes propuesta compitiendo Chloe Zhao, Emerald Fennell y Regina King.

De las sorpresas de este año es que Meryl Streep, la serie Bridgerton, la actriz Zendaya, el actor Tom Hanks, el director Spike Lee y Sophia Loren se quedaron a la mitad del camino de ser considerados a algún premio. Por otra parte, series como The Mandalorian de Disney+ y Lovecraft Country de HBO se abrieron paso para darnos a entender que la ciencia ficción y la fantasía tienen posibilidad de llevarse un Globo de Oro. 

De las cosas que más destacó durante el anuncio de los nominados, fue la merecida nominación póstuma al actor Chadwick Boseman por su participación en el filme Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, y también mencionable el hecho de que el actor y comediante Sacha Baron Cohen junto con las actrices Anya Taylor-Joy y Olivia Colman tuvieron múltiples nominaciones al ser partícipe de varios filmes y series.

Para cerrar, la nueva edición de los Globos de Oro será totalmente en línea o virtual, por así decir, ya que por circunstancias de salud global, la fiesta presencial, así como todo la parafernalia a la que solemos estar acostumbrados en este tipo de eventos, se tendrán que esperar para cuando nuestra realidad mejore. Aún así, será un interesante formato para celebrar a lo mejor del entretenimiento.

La edición número 78 de los Golden Globe Awards será presentada por Tina Fey y Amy Poehler el domingo 28 de febrero de 2021 por el canal NBC a partir de las 7 P.M. (tiempo de CDMX). Mientras esperamos la fecha, aquí tienen la lista completa de los nominados:
